Alpine rose honey
This wonderful honey comes from the South Tyrolean Alps.
We bring the bees to an altitude of 2000 m, where mainly the alpine rose (alpine rose) blooms from mid-June to mid-July.
A honey harvest is only possible at temperatures above 10 ° C, which is not always the case in June at 2000 m above sea level.
Even late snowfalls are still possible in June. But in some years it is still possible to fling some honeycombs.
This alpine, light honey is characterized by a mild, lovely - flowery taste.
