Fir honey
It is the king of German honeys: the noble fir honey.
It is harvested in the Black Forest, but only in very limited locations and sometimes only every 5 years. It has a malty-spicy aroma with a slightly resinous undertone of the fir tree.
The color palette ranges from red-brown, through dark brown and black, often with a slight green sheen.
Its consistency is thick.
